The "FAIR" Amp
This seemed to be a PA head, but the circuitry was all-tube, and
would accept a guitar as input, no problem. Marc did not have the
cabinet for it, and it was really not in the best shape and not built
as well as the Golden Gate amps. We managed to fix it and get it to
work but it had a really abrasive distortion sound that proved not
very useful. The size of the transformers would indicate significant
wattage. The reverb unit was not apparent, and probably mounted
externally at some time in the past... I forgot to write down the
tube designations, but here it is anyway. Sorry the pictures aren't
that revealing.
